Description
Vauclair Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery founded by St. Bernard in 1134. During the French Revolution, the complex was sold in 1791 to privates, and transformed into a farm. What remained of the Abbey suffered the great damages during the First World War. Today there are only vestiges left.
