- Description
- The State Office for Monument Preservation and Archaeology of Saxony-Anhalt is the agency of the State of Saxony-Anhalt whose tasks include scientific recording, research and documentation of the cultural heritage. It has also an advisory role on monument preservation issues. The State Museum of Prehistory (Landesmuseum für Vorgeschichte) is part of the State Office for Monument Preservation and Archaeology.
