Description

The Patronat del Call de Girona is responsible for the physical and cultural restoration of the Jewish heritage in Girona, including the renovation, revitalization and promotion of the historic Jewish Quarter (the “Call”). The Patronat is an independent municipal board, established in 1992 by the Girona City Council, the Girona Provincial Council and the Autonomous Government of Catalonia. The Museum of Jewish History (Museu d'Història dels Jueus) and the Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies (Institut d'Estudis Nahmànides) are its two main bodies.
