MONEYVAL, the Council of Europe’s anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing body, will organise a forum to promote best practices and enhance international co-operation in strengthening legal frameworks aimed at identifying beneficial owners of legal entities, such as companies, trusts or partnerships, in order to counter financial crimes. Hosted by the Government of Jersey, a MONEYVAL member jurisdiction, it will be the first Public-Private Learning and Development Forum on Beneficial Ownership within the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Global Network.
