Poland will host the annual Joint Meeting of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB). The event will be opened by the Chairperson of the Governing Board, Ambassador Harry Alex Rusz, and the Chairperson of the Administrative Council, Wioletta Barwicka-Lofthouse. The meeting will feature addresses by Poland’s Minister of Finance and Economy, Andrzej Domański, and the Governor of the CEB, Carlo Monticelli. The overall theme of this year’s Joint Meeting is “CEB: Delivering social impact locally.”
A CEB Award ceremony will also take place on the same day. One winner and two runners-up will receive the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) Award for Social Cohesion 2026, which recognises outstanding initiatives that strengthen communities and support vulnerable people across Europe. Projects from Bulgaria, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Romania, the Slovak Republic and three projects from Ukraine were shortlisted from 177 nominations submitted across 32 CEB member countries.
