The couple or the single woman who wish to have a child through surrogacy should cover all the expenses for achieving pregnancy, gestation, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Immediately after the born of the child they assume responsibility for the care of the child. Compensation of the surrogate includes any actual loss suffered by the pregnant woman due to her absence from work, as well as the wages for dependent employment that she was deprived of because of her absence for the purpose of achieving pregnancy, and due to gestation, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
