The Perspektivet Museum in Tromsø has joined the Women Writers Route, enriching its network with the legacy of Norwegian writer Cora Sandel (1880–1974). The museum curates Sandel’s life and work, highlighting her literary achievements and her unique portrayal of women’s lives in early 20th-century Europe.
With the Perspektivet Museum, the Women Writers Route now brings together over 40 member institutions dedicated to 22 female authors in 11 countries. This expansion strengthens international cooperation on women’s creativity and visibility in European cultural heritage.
Norway has been a member state of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe since 2011. It is crossed by 10 certified Cultural Routes
