- Chaves-Verín Eurocity is a EGTC project (European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation) for a new cross-border cooperation composed by the Portuguese Municipality of Chaves (Vila Real) and the Spanish Verín (Ourense, Galicia). Chaves-Verín Eurocity uses the existing synergies, enabling the region to generate added value and to create conditions for common policies and strategies to be adopted in diverse areas: culture, tourism, trade, education, R&D, social policies, etc.
