- Vagonetto’s Tunnel 850 opened as a working gallery in the mid 1960’s for bauxite extraction. The tunnel and the surrounding area of the Bauxite Mine were reconstructed to host the only thematic mining park and museum of its kind in Greece. The site shares the grounds with the active mine.
The “Vagonetto” Fokis Mining Park is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
