"STEP FORWARD WITH HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION"

"Compass" National Training Course on Human Rights Education with Young People 2019

27-31 May 2019, Kilkenny, Ireland

The aim of this project is to equip youth work practitioners with skills, knowledge and the attitude needed to become a multiplier for the implementation of human rights education activities with young people.

What is so unique about this project is that the national participants’ group will be youth leaders, volunteers, ‘peer to peer’ educators and human rights activists who are coming from the ethnic minority groups, living in Direct Provision Centres, LGBTQI+, people from the Traveller and Roma communities and those working directly with these minority groups.

This project seeks not only to strengthen minority groups and marginalised communities, but also to bring attention towards building more inclusive society and universal Human Rights culture. This project is a collaboration of the Council of Europe Youth Department, Eurobug International Youth Work Training and Collaboration Limited, the National Youth Council of Ireland and Kilkenny Leader Partnership »
