Claudia Luciani worked in the Directorate General of Political Affairs for a number of years as Director of Political Advice and Co-operation, she was appointed Director of Democratic Governance in September 2012 in the Directorate General of Democracy. Her work goes directly to the challenges of democracy on the continent and their impact on European citizens.
