On 5 May 2017, the Administrative Tribunal of the International Labour Organization held a symposium to mark the occasion of its 90th anniversary and its 125th session to be organized in 2017. The symposium entitled “90 years of contribution to the creation of international civil service law” took place at the headquarters of the International Labour Office in Geneva.

Following the opening ceremony, there were three panel discussions dealing, respectively, with the various facets of the law applied by international administrative tribunals, the general principles of law that guide them and some milestones in the development of the Tribunal's case law.
