Who are the PC-OC?

The Council of Europe’s Committee of Experts on the Operation of European Conventions on Co-operation in Criminal Matters (PC-OC / Terms of reference / List of Conventions) is the forum in which, since 1981, experts from all member and observer states and organisations come together to elaborate ways to improve international co-operation in criminal matters and identify solutions to practical problems encountered in the application of Council of Europe Conventions in this field. 76th PC-OC plenary meeting

At its 76th plenary meeting on 27-29 May 2019, the PC-OC approved the text of a draft Recommendation of the Committee of Ministers on the practical application of the Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons and its additional Protocol and the text of the commentary thereto. These texts will be submitted to the CDPC for consideration at their next plenary meeting in December. The Committee furthermore agreed on the issues to be covered at a thematic session to be held on 14 November 2019 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters.
