The Minister of Health, accompanied by the Secretary of State, underlined his determination to support the efforts of healthcare stakeholders in preventing and treating addiction as a public health problem.

The seminar was organised by the Tunisian Society of Addictology (STADD) within the framework of MedNET and enabled the sharing of France, Portugal and Lebanon’s political strategies on drugs. The issue of economic and social costs and the unintended consequences of policy choices were presented.

At the end of the discussions, recommendations were made for a coherent law on drugs.
