All-Ukrainian Charity Foundation “Gorenie” has developed a mobile application for internally displaced persons “IDPRights”.

The application includes the following sections: “News”, “Topical Issues”, “Legislation”, “Profile” (referral maps of the organizations dealing with protection of the rights of IDPs), “Templates of the Documents” with explanations of their completion and use.

Moreover the app has a function “Question to a lawyer” which allows a user to send a text message and receive a written consultation on a mailbox.

The Council of Europe Project “Internal Displacement in Ukraine: Building Solutions” supported the content of the “Topic Issues” section, which was created on the basis of IDPs’ requests as well as current legal issues in the field of internal displacement. Each topic has a step-by-step solution algorithm including links to the templates of the needed documentation.

The application allows to follow the news and legislation amendments in the field of internal displacement, to receive an information on the activities of the organizations working on social and legal protection of IDPs, and to communicate with the experts of the Charity Foundation “Gorenie”.

The app “IDPRights” can be downloaded for free through the Google Play link.

The app might be useful for internally displaced persons, as well as lawyers, NGOs working with IDPs in Ukraine.
