The Council of Europe experts held consultations on development of the network resource to support child psychologists

The Council of Europe project “Combating violence against children in Ukraine, Phase III” held a consultative meeting with international experts of the Council of Europe with representatives of the CSO La Strada-Ukraine, and Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine on the establishment of the network resource to support qualified child psychologists who can provide help to children in Ukraine and abroad.

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to create an online resource hub for psychologists who work with children, with a focus on trauma received as a result of the war. The online resource will be filled with the necessary methodical and informational materials that will be useful for psychologists providing support to children affected by the war.

Professional discussions were held with the participation of Council of Europe international expert Nina Vaaranen-Valkonen, who is currently engaged for the development of Training for trainers on psychological support and trauma intervention together with the national expert Natalia Zavarova, which will be delivered in November 2022.
