GREVIO reviews state report with representatives from Montenegro

On 10 October 2017, under its first (baseline) evaluation procedure, GREVIO held a dialogue with the authorities of Montenegro on issues related to their state report.

The Montenegrin delegation included the Ambassador Bozidarka Krunić (Permanent Representative of Montenegro to the Council of Europe) and the Deputy to the Permanent Representative of Montenegro to the Council of Europe, Ms. Ana Radusinović and was composed of various representatives from Montenegro: Mr. Goran Kuševija, Director General for Social Welfare and Child Protection, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Montenegro; Ms Jovana Radifković, Independent Adviser on Social Welfare and Child Protection, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare of Montenegro; Ms Bojana Bandović, Adviser, Supreme Court, Ms Maja Jović, Independent Adviser, Gender Equality Department, Ministry for Human and Minority Rights, Ms Senka Klikovac, Head of Health Department, Ministry of Health, Ms Jelena Protić, State Prosecutor, Mr. Bojan Bugarin, Independent Adviser,  Asylum Directorate, Ministry of Internal Affairs; Ms Snezana Vujović, Senior Police Inspector for the repression of Juvenile Delinquency and Domestic Violence; Mr Milivoje Rašović, President of the High Court of Montenegro, Ms Sonja Nikčević, President of the Municipal Assembly of Niksic.

A GREVIO delegation will carry out a visit to Montenegro from 6 to 9 October 2017 in order to assess the situation on the ground and report back to GREVIO.

GREVIO is scheduled to adopt its evaluation report on Montenegro in June 2018 and to publish it in September 2018.
