Limerick has launched its 3rd integration plan: “belonging to Limerick City and County integration plan 2018-2022” which builds upon the principles of the Intercultural cities programme. “The aim of Belonging to Limerick 2018-22 is to work towards creating a vibrant, inclusive and truly intercultural Limerick in which all residents belong and are valued equally irrespective of their colour, creed or culture.”

The Limerick Integration Working Group (IWG) which includes representatives and members of various communities and associations of Limerick is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the plan which focuses on the diversity advantage and the positive contribution migrants can bring.
