On 1-2 July 2021 the Council of Europe HELP Programme will hold its Annual Network Conference “Human Rights Responses to Global Challenges”.
Primarily aimed at Judiciary Schools and Bar Associations throughout the Council of Europe member States and beyond, as well as representatives of partner international organisations, the Conference will be fully broadcast online in English, French and Russian and is open to everyone interested in the work of the HELP Programme and in the HELP online courses.
The Conference will be held under the auspices of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers. The Conference will be opened by the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative of Hungary to the Council of Europe, the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe and the Ambassador and Head of EU Delegation to the Council of Europe.
The keynote speech will be delivered by the President of the European Court of Human Rights.
A special topical event on Environment and Human Rights will be opened by the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Ambassador and Head of EU Delegation to the Council of Europe.
