The Centre of Expertise, in cooperation with UDITE – the Association of the Local Chief Executives of Europe – organised the first International Roundtable and an Award Ceremony dedicated to the promotion of ELoGE – European Label of Governance’ Excellence.

Representatives of municipalities, associations, and experts from about 15 countries have discussed and shared their experience in the assessment of the municipalities against the 12 Principles of Good Democratic Governance.

Afterwards, seven pilot municipalities from  Ireland, Malta, Portugal, and Spain were awarded the Label represented by a crystal dodecahedron with 12 principles engraved on its facets.
