Meeting and discussion on the legislative framework relating to audio-visual communication and media freedom in Tunis

Inaugurated by Mr Mohamed Naceur, President of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People. (ARP), the meeting and discussion on the legislative framework relating to the audio-visual communication and media freedom, organised at the initiative of the Parliamentary Committee on rights and freedoms and external relations at the seat of the parliamentary academy was held on February 22 at the Assembly of the Representatives of the People.

This activity is part of the Commission's initiative to open a sincere and objective debate between all the key actors of the audiovisual sector, in particular, the deputies of the ARP, the Ministry of relations with the constitutional bodies, civil society and human rights, the HAICA, professional associations and representatives of civil society in order to objectively address all legal issues related to the legislative framework concerning the instance of audiovisual communication.
