On 12 May, the Department for the Execution of Judgments met with representatives of the United Kingdom Ministry of Justice and the Scottish Government team in Strasbourg. The discussions focused on the practice and procedures of the Committee of Ministers related to the supervision of European Court judgments as well as certain outstanding issues on pending cases against the United Kingdom.
Among other things, the Department shared information on best practices when it comes to submitting action plans and action reports and the participants shared thoughts on how co-operation between the authorities of the United Kingdom and the Department could be further improved.
