1318th meeting of the Committee of Ministers - Implementation of the European Court's judgments

The latest case-by-case decisions adopted on the implementation of judgments from the European Court of Human Rights have been published by the Committee of Ministers.

During its "Human Rights" meeting of June, the Committee adopted 30 decisions concerning 18 member States.

Final resolutions were adopted by the Committee in respect of 350 judgments and decisions from the European Court, concerning 18 different States.

The Committee also adopted the indicative list of cases proposed for examination at its next "Human Rights" meeting which will take place in September 2018.

The Council of Europe member States must implement the judgments and decisions of the European Court of Human Rights under Article 46 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The Committee of Ministers supervises the execution of judgments on the basis of information provided by the national authorities concerned, NGOs and other interested parties.
