The EYF will be attending the “Fostering minority youth participation” regional seminar held by the European Minority Youth Network  in Petrozavodsk, from 30 Sept – 3 Oct, as part of its annual visits to supported projects.

The EYF visits aim to establish contact with youth NGOs, give feedback to the Programming Committee on youth regarding projects and increase awareness of the EYF and of the Council of Europe.

The projects visited are selected by the EYF (taking into consideration the topic and/or priorities of the Youth sector, other criteria) and proposed to the Programming Committee who takes the final decision. This year various visits have been done to projects dealing with gender equality, one of the priorities of the Council of Europe.  12 visits have already taken place during the year 2016.
