“Rejuvenating politics”

The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, a pan-European political assembly of 648 members, is calling young people engaged in youth work or policy making at local and/or regional level, to take an active part in its 32nd and 33rd sessions from 26 to 30 March and 16 to 20 October 2017 in Strasbourg, France. The sessions are part of the Congress’ initiative “rejuvenating politics”.

Candidates must have a proven track record in youth work or policy making at local and/or regional level, speak English fluently, be between 16 and 30 years old, be resident in one of the 47 Council of Europe member States for at least 5 years and live in the country they will represent during the Congress’ sessions.

The selected youth delegates must commit to taking part in both sessions and to developing a local project related to the integration of migrants or intercultural dialogue.

The deadline for submitting applications is 10 January 2017
