The European Committee of Social Rights holds its 312th session by video conference

The European Committee of Social Rights will hold its 312th session on 11, 13 and 14 May 2020 by video conference.

The Committee will proceed to the examination of the national reports for Conclusions XXII-1 (2020) of the 1961 Charter and for Conclusions 2020 of the Revised Charter with respect to the Charter provisions belonging to thematic group 1 “employment, training and equal opportunities”.

The Committee will also examine several pending collective complaints and will take stock of the situation related to the procedure provided for by Article 22 of the European Social Charter on “non-accepted provisions”. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the scheduled meetings on non-accepted provisions in Estonia and Georgia were postponed. The Committee will consider the possibility of organising these at a later stage.

In addition, the Committee will examine the draft questions to be addressed to the States Parties for Conclusions 2021 on the Charter provisions belonging to thematic group 2 “health, social security and social protection”.
