325th session of the European Committee of Social Rights by videoconference

The European Committee of Social Rights will hold its first session for 2022 from 24 to 28 January 2022 entirely by videoconference.

The Committee will proceed with the adoption of conclusions 2021 in respect of 33 States Parties to the Charter (no conclusions in respect of Germany and Iceland will be adopted due to late reporting) concerning the provisions belonging to thematic group 2 “health, social security and social protection”. These conclusions will be made public in March 2022. Moreover, the Committee will adopt its findings 2021 in respect of 8 States (Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy and Portugal) on follow-up to decisions in collective complaints.

The Committee will also examine several pending collective complaints and will take stock of the situation related to the procedure provided for by Article 22 of the European Social Charter on “non-accepted provisions”. The countries concerned by this procedure in 2022, Albania, Finland, North Macedonia, and Turkey, have been invited to submit written information by 31 March 2022.
