After the Cannes Film Festival, the Academy of European Cinema is awarding the co-production The Square (SE, DK, FR) by Ruben Östlund with many prizes. The European Prize for Best Film, Comedy, Director , Actor (Claes Bang), Scriptwriter and Decorator (Josefin Åsberg)! The prize for Best European Cinematographer  – Carlo di Palma Prize was awarded to Michail Krichman for Loveless (RU, FR, DE, BE) which also received the prize for Best European Composer (Evgueni & Sacha Galperine)  and the Best European Costume Designer Prize was awarded to Kararzyna Lewińska for Spoor (PL, DE, CZ, SE). Cedomir Kolar was very emotional when receiving the Prize for Best European Co-production Award – Prix Eurimages from director and great friend Danis Tanovic. Moreover, the European University Film Award, a joint initiative of the Hamburg European Cinema Film Academy was awarded to the film Heartstone de Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson, a co-production between Iceland and Denmark supported by Eurimages.
