Progress towards an additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention was one of the topics of the International Symposium on Cybercrime Response (ISCR 2018) held in Seoul, Korea, from 29 to 31 August 2018.
The International Symposium on Cybercrime Response is organised annually since 2000 by the Korean National Police. The 2018 edition had participants from more than 60 countries.
The meeting was also used to continue the dialogue between the authorities of Korea and the Council of Europe on accession to the Budapest Convention.
