Ensuring Sustainable Democratic Governance and Human Rights in the Southern Mediterranean (SNAC 3 Regional)
The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region continues to manifest significant interest in strengthening cooperation with the Council of Europe based on the framework of existing Council of Europe instruments and mechanisms, including in the domain of combatting corruption and other forms of economic crime. This successful cooperation initiated & implemented in the first and second phases of the South Programme will continue under South Programme III which includes both national and regional level activities.
The SNAC 3 Project aims to promote the establishment of anti-corruption networks among the countries of the MENA region as well as the exchange of good practices. It will also include a sub-regional component covering joint activities between Jordan and Palestine*, aiming to support the advancement of regional dialogue.
