The CLEP Project has supported the finalization of a reporting model on the implementation of anti-corruption action plans for local level public administrations. For this purpose a CoE expert met with representatives from the second level public administration (secretaries of the “rayon” councils and local councilors) and first level public administration (mayors of communes/municipalities) to gather their concerns and firsthand implementation experience in the anti-corruption field. The result of these efforts will be a common methodology to monitor and report on the progress achieved in the implementation of the action plans. This should facilitate the work of local level administrations and in turn provide the National Anti-Corruption Center with more reliable and consistent data for national level reports.
