The aim of the developed guide on management of conflict of interest in the public sector is to provide the various public actors with a practical reference document which explains the essential concepts and presents guidelines to manage conflict of interest in the Tunisian regulatory context. A prior exchange and consultation with relevant institutions and practitioners was conducted in October 2020 to update and structure the institutional and regulatory context on issues related to conflict of interest management.

The workshop was an opportunity to present the developed guide and to collect comments and suggestions from participating institutions. The Council of Europe will continue its assistance, in particular by supporting the agreed dissemination strategy to different categories of public officials and supporting training initiatives on issues conflict of interest management.

This activity was organised within the framework of the joint programme to support independent bodies in Tunisia (PAII-T), which is financed by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the latter.
