From 17 to 19 December 2018, officials of the Kosovo* Anti-corruption Agency (KAA) supported by the PECK II Project, conducted meetings with High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets and Conflict of Interests (HIDAACI), Ministry of Justice, Public Procurement Agency and High State Audit in Tirana, Albania.
Meetings entailed focused discussions on management of conflict of interest cases. Initially KAA officials were welcomed by HIDAACI were they engaged in comprehensive discussions about typologies of cases, risk areas, the role of responsible authorities, sub legal acts and manuals issued to facilitate implementation of the law on conflict of interest. Meetings were also held with other institutions aimed at learning about management of conflict of interest cases from their perspective as responsible authorities.
These meetings are a follow up support provided by PECK II Project with regard to implementation of the law on conflict of interest.
