Back Corruption risks in procurement processes and delivery of public services to be discussed in Krasnousolsk

Over 60 representatives of Federal and Regional Business Ombudsman Offices, high-level representatives of executive and legislative bodies, municipal authorities and business associations from the Republic of Bashkortostan participated in two back to back workshops on "Corruption practices affecting the procurement process at the municipal level in the Russian Federation" and on "Corruption factors and trends in provision of public services to business entities by municipal authorities in the Russian Federation".

The corresponding studies prepared by Council of Europe experts were presented and discussed in these workshops. Furthermore the participants had an opportunity to discuss a set of recommendations to strengthen the preventive measures to address corruption risks in the public procurement processes and in the provision of public services to businesses at municipal level.
