For the purpose of supporting the authorities in “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” in establishing a Central Register for Beneficial owners, the Action against Economic Crime organized a series of activities on this issue. Initially a Roadmap for the establishment of the register was prepared by Council of Europe experts and was presented and discussed at two roundtable which took place on 30 November and 1 December 2017.  The discussions with various stakeholders allow to further develop and identify the steps in the Roadmap for the establishment of the Register of Beneficial Owners in “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”.
