At their meeting on 17 October, the Ministers' Deputies held their six-monthly review of the situation with regard to the abolition of the death penalty.

They adopted a recommendation to member States on improving access to justice for Roma and Travellers in Europe.

The Deputies also held exchanges of views with:

• Mr Guido Raimondi, President of the European Court of Human Rights, on the progress of the work of the Court; and
• Ms Stella Kyriakides, President of the Parliamentary Assembly, on the 4th part of the 2017 Session of the Assembly (Strasbourg, 9-13 October 2017).
