Dr. Riikka Koulu is an assistant professor in Law and Digitalisation in the Law Faculty of University of Helsinki, a member of the digital humanities centre HELDIG, Finnish Centre for Artificial Intelligence FCAI and the director of the University of Helsinki Legal Tech Lab, a multidisciplinary research hub on law, technology and society. Her research interests include algorithmic fairness and ethics of AI development,
autonomous legal decision making and the governance and conflict management of data-driven technologies.
