Council of Europe Committee of Ministers: The Russian Federation ceases to be a member of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes
Following an extraordinary meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on 23 March 2022, and following the exclusion of the Russian Federation from the Council of Europe on 16 March 2022, the Chairman of the Statutory Committee of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA), Ambassador Patrick Engelberg, and the Chairman of the EPA Governing Board, Mr Julien Vuilleumier, wish to inform the member states of the EPA, the certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, as well as all stakeholders of the Cultural Routes Programme of the Council of Europe that the Russian Federation will cease to be a member of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes as of 23 March 2022.
