- The Historical Wastewater Treatment Plant of Uerdingen (1908-1910) is considered to be an outstanding example of Art Nouveau in industrial architecture.
Visits of the Plant illustrate the importance of mechanical wastewater treatment, while expert guided tours provide an insight into the history of the sewage treatment plan.
The Uerdingen Wastewater Treatment Plant is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
