The Workshop on Designing the Mediation Training Curriculum and Modules is conducted in 18-20 August in Antalya within the context of the Project on Developing Mediation Practices in Civil Disputes in Turkey. The general aim of the workshop is to develop outline of the modules for the Basic Mediation Training Program. Authorities from the Ministry of Justice, academicians/trainers from different universities and the Project Team of the Council of Europe participated to the workshop. CoE/CEPEJ experts participated to the first day of the workshop through a video conference. The needs analysis results prepared by the Curriculum Expert were presented in the Workshop and information was given about the curriculum that is planned to be prepared. The draft of the curriculum, prepared by the curriculum expert with the support of the CoE/CEPEJ experts, is reviewed in the Workshop. In the second and third day of the Workshop, national experts discussed the content of the curriculum and worked on the modules, the training materials and tools that could be used and the activities that could be made in the training. It is decided to organize a Follow-up Workshop in September in order to follow-up the works that will be accomplished.
