The Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina joins the Council of Europe Campaign

"The victim [of domestic violence] is very often alone in the criminal proceedings, without judicial and psychological support, without real understanding of her rights. During the process of recovery of the suffered violence, the right for help is almost completely neglected", stresses the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which passed a Resolution on combating domestic violence against women calling on the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, members of parliament, NGOs and medias tu support and implement the Council of Europe Campaign "Stop domestic violence against women". Ms Mirjana Malić was appointed contact parliamentarian for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
