Regional Cooperation
|
At the first coordination meeting held in Strasbourg on 19 October 2006, contact parliamentarians decided to set up regional groups to develop cooperation by exchanging experiences within each group. With support of the Parliamentary Assembly, these regional groups will meet to analyse the needs of each national Parliament and by using contact Parliamentarians' existing knowhow, they will define areas of work in order to improve national legislation and to propose appropriate targeted actions.
