Today, in Strasbourg, in the presence of Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Ambassador Stelios Perrakis, Permanent Representative of Greece to the Council of Europe, deposited the instrument of ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (CETS No.210), by Greece.
The Convention will enter into force, as regards Greece, on the 1st of October 2018.
Greece becomes the 32nd State to ratify the Convention.
