Second meeting of the European Committee for Social Cohesion

The European Committee for Social Cohesion (CCS) will hold its 2nd meeting on 24 November 2022 in Strasbourg, France and via videoconference.

The Committee will review the progress made under the 2022-2023 work plan, will exchange views and make proposals for future activities.

The Committee will also discuss two draft reports: on Challenges related to social cohesion in implementing the UN sustainable development goals, which will be presented by Prof. Lauri Leppik, the author, and on Transition to green economy – social cohesion aspects: how the European green deal agenda interacts with social cohesion, which will be presented by Prof. Philip von Brockdorff, the author.

Moreover, the members of the Committee will be invited to appoint a member of the Bureau, a Rapporteur on Gender Equality and a Rapporteur on Roma and Traveller Issues.
