Cultural Routes Database with Interactive Map now online

The European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR) has developed the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Database with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Directorate of Information Technology of the Council of Europe.

An online platform accessible to the public hosts a structured and extensive database together with an interactive map organizing all 2,000 network members of the 38 certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, including national, local and regional authorities, cultural institutions and NGOs, tourism stakeholders, universities and research centers, SMEs, route Headquarters, as well as heritage sites and museums represented within the networks across the 47 member States of the Council of Europe and beyond.

The Cultural Routes Database filters data by cross-searching information according to the various Cultural Routes, network member categories and by country. The interactive map allows to locate in Europe the members of the networks and the European heritage concerned.
