CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: 6th Training course for the staff of youth centres in the network of the Council of Europe Quality Label for Youth Centres

Youth centres are playing a crucial role in supporting young people throughout the pandemic and are strongly affected by the crisis. Consequently, the activities and programmes had to be reshaped and the role of youth workers has shifted. With this shift, a need to develop a new set of competences arose.

The 6th edition of the training course aims to support the pedagogical staff of the Quality Label network in raising quality of services they offer to young people in their communities in order to make them more relevant for the current and future realities.

Content-wise, the training course intends to address the following questions:

  • How has the pandemic affected me and my work in the youth centre?
  • What effect did the pandemic have on the young people that I am working with?
  • What can I do differently in order to reach and engage more effectively more young people?
  • What tools, models, approaches or techniques could we co-create with other youth workers that could be used in our practices?
