The third round of common court managers’ forum took place on 13-15 September in Kakheti, Georgia. The forum is an already established strong platform enhancing the skills and providing the opportunity to share knowledge and experience of court managers’ throughout Georgia.

The platform is established by the CoE project “Support to the Judicial Reform in Georgia” and organised twice per year. The agenda and topics for discussions are based on the needs assessment and the questionnaire meeting the court managers’ request. The third event focused on the improvement of data collection on discriminatory cases, the formation of stereotypes and efficient methods of combating them, classified case management and other topics that can be challenging during the court management.

Managers’ Forum has already enabled 4 most active court managers to visit the Supreme Court of to the Republic of Slovenia - a country with a similar judicial system to Georgia establishing the good practice in efficient judicial proceedings and management.

The event was organised and supported by the Council of Europe projects: “Support to the Judicial Reform in Georgia” and  “Fight against Discrimination, Hate Crimes and Hate Speech in Georgia”.
