Council of Europe continues strengthening capacity of investigators dealing with crimes committed on discriminatory grounds

The Council of Europe in co-operation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues series of trainings on prohibition of discrimination, hate speech and crimes committed on discriminatory grounds. Within the series of trainings another eventwas organised for the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

 

Trainings are held based on materials developed by the Council of Europe consisting of theoretical and practical components. Materials cover discrimination, hate speech, crimes committed on discriminatory grounds, indicators of ill-treatment and standards of investigation.

 

The event was organised as part of the Council of Europe co-operation Project “Fighting Discrimination, Hate Crime and Hate Speech in Georgia”. The project is conducted with the support of the Danish Neighbourhood Programme in Georgia (DANEP) under the Council of Europe’s Action Plan for Georgia.
