Politiques / stratégies en matière de cybercriminalité
State Policy on Development of ICT up to 2025, implemented by Communications and Information Technology Authority, includes commitments to improving information security while developing ICT:
- Foster legal environment for enforcing cyber security standards;
- Build capacity for defending critical infrastructure;
- Expand cooperation with professionals and international community; and
- Improve education and awareness of cybersecurity issues.

Droit matériel
Chapter 25 of the Criminal Code of Mongolia contains substantive law provisions corresponding partially to data and system interference, as well as misuse of devices:
- Article 226. Alteration, damage or destruction of the computer data or software;
- Article 227. Illegally obtaining of the computer data;
- Article 217. Preparation and sale of devices for illegally entering the computer data network;
- Article 229. Designing, using or dissemination of a computer virus.
Droit procédural
The Criminal Procedure Code does not include procedural powers corresponding to the Budapest Convention.
