“Action Day – Safer Internet Day” – February

Years that this action day was marked: 2015 / 2017.

Description: Making Internet a safe and engaging space for children and youth has been a driving force behind the work of the many partners in the campaign; therefore, this Action Day was an opportunity to highlight the role of Human Rights Education in combating hate speech and building a shared democratic culture online. This resource includes materials such as educational activities, blog posts, and a concept note of the action day.

The Action Days mobilise the national campaigns and European partners of the No Hate Speech Movement in joint activities on specific forms or targets of hate speech. Each Action Day had a programme of activities prepared in co-operation with the national campaign co-ordinators, online activists and campaign partners.
